Our lives wouldn't be the same without sports. One needs to pick up a sport and devote themselves to it nonstop if they want to develop their personalities on all levels.
"SPORTASTICO" the sports club of PGDM department organized a one-day Sports Meet J.A.D.O.F (Just Another Day on Field) on 6th Aug, 2022 for PGDM|IB|RM Batches at Rashtriya Swabhiman Khel Parisad, Pitampura with the aim of fostering a sense of sportsmanship in students and enhancing their physical and social skills. The event were of badminton and volleyball, and students and faculty participated with great enthusiasm.
The day started at 10:00 am in the morning with the opening match of volleyball played between PGDM section C of 2nd year, PGDM IB of 1st year in which PGDM IB were the victory holders. At 11:00 in the morning, the badminton match began, there on three badminton courts, 5 boy’s Knock-out rounds and 3 girl’s Knock-out rounds were played.
Ansh Chawla was crowned with the first position followed by Bikramjeet Singh and Shubham Pokhriyal for 2nd and 3rd position respectively in badminton.
Himanshi Bambah achieved the top spot in the competition where Priya Tyagi and Ashima Sharma were the 1st and 2nd runner ups.
The first semi-final of volleyball (boys only) was played between PGDM section-A 2nd year and PGDM section-A 1st year. PGDM Section-A 2nd year students were the first finalist. The second semi-final match was played between PGDM IB 1st year and PGDM section-B 1st year students, to make their way to the finals. The PGDM section-A 2nd year and PGDM section-B 1st year, competed in the final match over three sets where PGDM section-A 2nd year claimed the title by winning the first two sets.
