THE PGDM PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

  • Total Four specializations offered - Marketing, Finance, HR, IB (In Minor) and Operations (In Minor). To be taken up in Trim.IV- VI
  • Total Marks of the programme : 4200 Total Credits of the programme : 140 (73.5 cr - I year; 54.5 cr - II year; 12 cr Self Directed Learning (SDL))
  • Total Four specializations offered - Marketing, Finance, Human Resource and Iinternational Business (As Minor) to be taken up in second year.
  • I year Courses (Trim I-III ) : 25 papers of 64.5 credits plus comprehensive viva-voce of 9 credits.
  • II year Courses (Trim IV-VI) : 4 core papers of 9 credits plus specialization electives of 36 credits. Summer Internship project viva of 6 credits, Final Project & Viva of 3credits.

Courses and Credits – First year

In the first year, the students get exposed to basic management concepts related to marketing, Accounts, quantitative techniques, Human Resource, Organisation Behaviour, Finance and Operations Management through the core courses. Besides core knowledge, a strong emphasis is placed on communication, soft and behavioural skills for a robust foundation.

A student is required to do 25 core courses along with Comprehensive viva evenly spread in all three trimesters. The trimester- wise course details are given in the table below:

Summer Internship

Every student has to undergo summer internship program of six to eight weeks starting from the first week of May till end of June.

Courses and Credits – Second Year

In the second year, the students choose their major and minor electives from Marketing, Human resource, Finance and International Business (Minor) domains. Besides four core courses, they have to study 12 courses from the specialisation stream.
