Welcome to the Faculty Development Program

ABOUT FDP

In an era where academic institutions are expected to generate impactful research with limited core funding, the ability to secure external grants and resources has become a critical skill. The FDP titled “Academic Fundraising and Grant Writing: From Ideas to Funding” is designed to empower faculty members, research scholars, and institutional leaders with the knowledge, tools, and strategies required to navigate the complex world of grant writing and academic fundraising.

This program provides a comprehensive understanding of how to identify funding opportunities, craft competitive proposals, and manage projects postaward. With an added emphasis on non-traditional fundraising (e.g., CSR, alumni engagement, startup ecosystems),the FDP aims to broaden the fundraising horizon for institutions and researchers
