The Institution's Innovation Council (IIC), JIMS Rohini, under the ATAL Saarthi Initiative of NITI Aayog, successfully organised a Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled "Empowering Educators for the Future: AI, Collaboration & Student Success" on 1st August 2026 at Lancer Convent School, Rohini. The programme was conducted by Dr. Geeta Sharma, Dr. Silky Madan, and Dr. Shivani Wadhwa, Associate Professors at JIMS Rohini. The session aimed to equip educators with modern teaching strategies, Artificial Intelligence tools, and collaborative approaches to improve student learning outcomes.
The programme commenced with an introduction highlighting the changing landscape of education and the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in teaching and learning. The speakers discussed how AI-powered technologies are transforming classrooms by supporting personalised learning, assessment, lesson planning, and administrative efficiency.
The resource persons introduced participants to several AI-based educational tools that can assist educators in content creation, lesson planning, assessment design, and classroom engagement. They demonstrated practical applications of AI while emphasising responsible and ethical usage of these technologies in educational settings.
A significant focus of the programme was on collaborative learning and innovative pedagogical practices.
