JIMS Rohini organised a guest lecture on “Retail Sales” for PGDM-Retail Management students (batch 2018-20) on 27th October, 2018. The resource person was Ms. Meenal Babbar Senior Manager - PR & Branding (ANP Holding) & Ex-Sales head – BIBA. She explained students how external environment affects the businesses through various real life situations. She used multiple cases of the retail industry such as FabIndia, luxury chocolate brand "Patchi", Gurugram’s famous cafe “Dribble” etc to illustrate the impact of economic conditions on the demand, sale and revenue generation in a particular retail outlet. She explained the students how cafe Dribble has made its outlets successful when the cafe was not earning enough profits. She also shared the success story of GIGI, Delhi NCR’s only Greek Restaurant.
It was a good learning experience for the students.
