PGDM department organised a global Exposure Program in Singapore from 25th March 2019 to 30th March 2019. The journey to Singapore started with a visit to the Yakult Factory. Students also enjoyed night Safari, it’s the world‘s first nocturnal wildlife park and 13th time winner of the Best Attraction category awarded by Singapore Tourism Board. Visiting Supreme Court of Singapore, NE water Plant, Tiger Brewery and city tour has left mesmerizing moments.The students also enjoyed at Sentosa Island and Universal Studios. Overall international trip was very informative and adventurous
An International visit to Dubai was organized for students of PGDM – Retail from 5thSeptember to 9th September 2018. Students were given exposure with visits to different companies located in Dubai. One of the visits undertaken wasto Nakheel Enterprises. Students were apprised about the future of real estate in Dubai and upcoming projects of Nakheel. They understood the investors interest and investment opportunities presently existing in real estate in UAE. The other corporate visit students paid is toRoyal Arabians (A Destination Management Company). Students attended a workshop about the process of establishing and challenges faced by a DestinationManagement Company. Students also visited Burj khalifa (world’s tallest tower),Desert Safari, Abudabi, Dubai mall and much more. In a nutshell, it was a memorable trip.
Jims Rohini organized a 5 day educational trip to Dubai for students of PGDM-Retail from 27th March 2017- 31st March 2017.The main objective of the trip was to have an understanding of the global business environment and exposure to international brands.They visited an international University, Companies, Mall of Emirates, Dubai Mall, besides some global places of tourist interest.
JIMS Rohini organised an industrial visit for PGDM- Retail Management students batch (2021-23) on 13th October, 2021 at Neetee Clothing PVT LTD Gurugram. The purpose of Visit is to make students aware about the production process of textile industry and to gain insight into practical knowledge to supplement the theoretical concepts. Neetee Clothing is a leading player in the textile industry. Being backed by experienced promoters, the company is spreading its wings all over the globe at a very fast pace. More than 7 years of experience, qualified human resources and state of the art production units have made the industry one of the finest industry in clothing and denim sector. During the visit, the students were divided into two groups to learn about the apparel fabric, denims and stitching; and saw the whole production process i.e spinning , weaving , finishing, packaging and other technical processes in detail. The practical experience makes students knowledge more realistic and clear. It was a wonderful experience for them to visit one of the leading companies in the apparel world.
An industrial visit to Amul was organised by JIMS Rohini on 24th November 2018 for first year students of PGDM-Retail Management. The students were exposed to the complete production process of automatic plant of banas dairy. The objective of organizing this visit was to make students aware about the current market scenarios and the latest technologies used in the Dairy Industry. The Technical Head of AMUL shared the working of the plant and also briefed about process of Dairy Business and its importance in the market. He also guided on SCADA PLC technology which is their working technology. The session was concluded with Question- Answer round as students asked different questions to the Technical Head and Sales Personal on current technologies, market scenarios etc. The students were satisfied after the session and the Company motivated the students by offering AMUL Lassi & Coffee
An industrial visit to Atlas Cycles was organised by PGDM-RM department on 23rd July 2016 for first year students of PGDM-RM along with second year operations specialization students of PGDM had been to the visit. The students were exposed to complete production process of semi-automatic plant of bicycles.
Mr. Rana(CEO) himself had an interactive session with the students & handled their queries. He emphasized on the concept of customer happiness as a key for success of any business. It was an enriching experience for the students.
