Nowadays there is an immense need to bring students into ‘start-up culture’ and provide a platform where they can convert their bright ideas into innovation. JIC ambitious plan is to give boost to ‘Make in India’ and ‘StartUp India’ initiatives of the Government of India and make the students ‘Employment Provider’ rather than the ‘Employment Seeker’.
Under JIC, a ‘START-UP Incubation Program’ has been launched, which shall provide comprehensive learning and guidance to those who are planning to setup their own business venture. Throughout the program, participants shall get a rich exposure to the Startup ecosystem by interacting with the incubators, investors, entrepreneurs and associated service providers. They shall be assisted in preparing a viable Business Plan, understanding market environment and refining product or service offerings. By the completion of the program, participants are expected to begin pitch deck to the venture capitalists and launch their product for pilot testing. It shall also be useful to those who are already running small businesses and want to scale it further.
