Bachelor of Business Administration

BBA is one of the most popular bachelor degree programmes after class XII. The 3-year professional undergraduate course in Business Management is open to students from all the three streams: Science, Arts and Commerce. Apart from curriculum, JIMS provides amicable environment for students to develop  management and leadership skills and prepares them for managerial roles and entrepreneurship. JIMS organizes various activities like Seminars, Workshops, Guest Lectures, pre-placement activities and a number of club activities for knowledge enhancement and personality development of students. JIMS has a dedicated Placement Department which provides opportunities to students for pursuing Internships in reputed companies. JIMS has an incubation centre JIC which provides financial as well as advisory support to budding entrepreneurs aspiring to make their dreams into a successful ventures. BBA course is the gateway to numerous job opportunities in a plethora of fields like Marketing, Education, Finance, Sales to name a few. 

Admission Process: Students must appear in Common Entrance Test conducted by GGSIPU. Only CET qualified applicants shall be considered for admission, through University Counselling subject to fulfilment of eligibility and admission criteria.

Eligibility Criteria: Pass in class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and must have passed in English (core or elective or Functional) as a subject.

Bachelor of Computer Applications

 BCA is a popular course among the students who wants to have a career in the field of IT. It is a three year undergraduate programme.  It comprises of subjects like database, networking, data structure, core programming languages like ‘C’ and ‘java’. JIMS is one of the top choices among the students for seeking admission in a BCA programme. Apart from curriculum, JIMS provides amicable environment for students to enhance their personality. JIMS organizes various activities from time to time like Seminar, Workshops, Guest Lectures, Summer Training on latest Technologies. Students are provided opportunities to work on live projects.  JIMS has an incubation centre JIC which provides financial as well as advisory support to budding entrepreneurs aspiring to make their dreams into a successful ventures.   This course provides a number of opportunities to the students who wish to become Junior Software Developer, Junior Web Developer, Junior Software Tester, Networking Administrator etc..

Eligibility Criteria: Pass in 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with pass in English and Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Practice/Computer Applications/Multimedia & Web Technology/Data Management  Application/Web Application as compulsory subject of non-vocational stream with 50 theory and 50 practical ratio.

OR

Three year Diploma in branch of Engineering from polytechnic duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to recognizing examining body with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate

Bachelor of Arts Economics(H)

B.A Economics(H) programme is divided in six semesters. An academic year shall be apportioned into two semesters. Each of the two semesters shall be of working duration of about 21 weeks as per the following breakup.

  • Imparting of teaching 15 Weeks
  • Preparatory leave about 01 weeks
  • Semester end examination (including Practical) about 05 weeks

There shall be a break of 2 weeks after every odd semester and vacation of approximately 6 weeks after even semester.

Admission Process: Admission shall be on the basis of the merit of the written test / CET.

Eligibility Criteria:Candidates with an aggregate* of 50% marks in 10+2 level examination compulsory study at 10+2 Level from a recognized state and central government board with mathematics and English compulsory subjects at 10+2 Level.

Master of Computer Applications

MCA is a popular three year course that provides a strong foundation of basics and core concepts of Information Technology like, Database Management Techniques, Network Management and other industry related subjects for an IT student. Admission Process: All  admissions shall be made on the basis of the merit of NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2019 that is conducted by National Institute of Technology’s on a rotational basis and utilize the merit prepared on the basis of NIMCET Merit for its admission.

Eligibility Criteria: Indian Nationals securing at least 60% marks in in agggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scales (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST) in (i) B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT / B.Voc. (Computer Science/ Computer Applications) of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects OR (ii) B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University
