Entrepreneurship Cell of JIMS, Rohini organized an event “Entrepreneurial Untold Success Story Telling Contest”, on Monday, 27th November, 2017 at its Sector-5, Rohini campus.
Eight shortlisted teams from PGDM and PGDM (RM) programmes presented and shared the stories of people who started with a humble background but achieved success in their entrepreneurial ventures through sheer determination and hard work.
Wide ranging stories of entrepreneurs, some who have made it big at very young age were presented. These included: Rashi Narang, who started a venture ‘Heads Up for Tails’ (HUFT) for the pet lovers; Ramesh Babu, a barber who owns a fleet of nearly 500 luxury and other cars; Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist on whose life a film Padman is getting made; Deepak Sahni, a handicapped boy who not only excelled in academics but in business as well through his packaged food venture called ‘Aadhar’; Varun Agarwal, who is working on three start-ups including Almamater store.

Judges for the event were the following three budding entrepreneurs, who shared their experiences and also provided feedback on the presentations;
Mr.Sudeep Srivastava, CEO of AppInventiv, a Mobile App Technology Company which tightly bind Mobile Apps with the upcoming & next generation technologies like IOT, Beacons, AR etc.
Appinventiv is fastest Growing App Development firm in India and has done revenue of over 3 million USD in its second year. They have offices in India, USA and Dubai.
Mr.Himanshu Pathak, founder,
GloBox, provider of beauty subscription box who's focus is to provide women with trustable beauty products handpicked by experts.
Mr.Anurag Srivastava, founder MadoverPrint Pvt.Ltd. a publishing and designing firm.
The event was very well organized and coordinated by the E-Cell student coordinators mainly Vidit Chawla, Diksha Madaan, Kunal Dua, Aashi Jain, Vivek Chandran and Vikas Yadav, under guidance of Faculty incharge Dr.Sumesh Raizada.
