Conference context

Traditions always give way to newer beliefs and practices. This is true for all dimensions of human life. Corporate life is no different. Traditional and therefore established methods of planning and operating are not timeless and do give way to newer and often better ways of thinking and doing. Researchers and practitioners in the realm of management are always on the lookout for all explicit and subtle hints of newness in the area.

The ever-evolving environment of business is the very reason for the advances in management practices. Instances abound in all functional areas. Marketers are using unconventional means to generate awareness among the potential buyers while finance managers are exploring unheard of ways to fund new projects and HR managers are making significant moves to bring gender parities in roles and pay packages.

Changes that recreate or reform to yield improvements deserve to be deliberated and shared. Similarly, the other side deserves to be acquainted with the goodness of the new for meaningful adoption. ICAMP 2019 is an attempt in the said direction which will lend an important ground for open exchange of views about contemporary demands, issues and the management practices to better the methods and the results.

The conference is expected to not only be a forum for functional areas specific issues and practices but also for multidisciplinary research based managerial solutions to contemporary issues. Thus, ICAMP 2019 intends to aid researchers, academicians, educators and management practitioners to interact and mutually benefit from the respective expertise.

Call for papers

The Conference organizer invites researchers, academicians, educators and practitioners to participate in ICAMP 2019 as paper contributors. As aforementioned, contemporary practices and advances in management are proposed to be shared for critical discussion and wider dissemination. The paper presentation themes are expected to be covered under the prominent functional areas of management such as

  • Advances in marketing management practices
  • Advances in financial management practices
  • Advances in human resource management practices
  • Advances in operations management practices
  • Advances in international business management practices

These significant areas of expected research discourses for the conference must necessarily be proposed through an abstract submission by the contributors followed by the ‘full work’ submission.

ICAMP solicits original and unpublished contributions of two types - research papers and case studies. The former may be empirical or conceptual in nature. Case studies must essentially be descriptive illustrations of business practices that have been either pioneering or innovative in their own respective ways.

Guidelines for abstract submission

Interested contributors need to submit an extended abstract in the range of 1500-2000 words latest by January 31, 2019, electronically, to [email protected]

The contributors must ensure that the submission is original and not presented or published earlier or under review for presentation or publication at the same time.

A submission not meeting the above guidelines is likely to be summarily rejected. All extended abstracts will be blind reviewed and evaluated on their originality, focus, learning, clarity and overall presentation. The evaluation board reserves the rights to accept or reject a paper on the basis of the extended abstract. The acceptance or otherwise would be intimated to the contributor/corresponding author latest by February 10, 2019.

Upon review, the contributor(s) may be invited for presentation (at ICAMP 2019 on April 27, 2019) if their work fulfils the aforementioned criteria. All of the selected extended abstracts will be published in the compilation of Conference proceedings, published by a leading publishing house.

Submission of extended abstracts implies the author(s) consent for publication of the same and transfer of the copyright to the Publisher through the Conference Organizer. No separate consent for the same will be sought.
