Business Simulation Game Jims on 3rd December,2009, Thursday organized a Business simulation game on "Distribution management under uncertain environment" for the PGDM students. The simulation exercise was conducted by Prof. S.K. Garg, Head of the Department, Delhi school of management, Delhi Technical University. The objective of this session was to motivate the corporate aspirants to understand Distribution management as a key strategic area. Principles of Network design, EOQ, Inventory positioning, resource allocation were some of the other relevant areas discussed during the session. A case analysis competition was also organized on the theme of Distribution management. First and second prizes were awarded to the winning teams. At the end Dr. Madan Mohan, dean , Jims Sector-5, Rohini extended the vote of thanx to Prof. S.K. Garg for his valuable inputs on the subject. |
