Prof. P.K. JAIN ,, Modi Foundation Chair Professor of Finance, Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi, has a teaching experience of nearly 40 years. He had earlier served IIT as Head of Department of Management Studies and Co-ordinator of Dalmia Research Programme on Management in Asia. Besides India, he has also taught at Management Institutes of the Universities of Basrah, Paris, Bangkok, New Jersey, Slovenia, where he was awarded the title of Honorary Visiting Professor, Slovenia. He has also been conferred the Best Teacher Award 1912 by IIT Delhi. He has been delivering lectures as a visiting professor at large number of National Professional Institutes and Public Sector Undertakings. He is a prominent reviewer of Journals like Vision, Abhigyan, Finance India, Management and Change etc.

He has authorized more than a dozen popular standard tax books on Financial Management, which have run in several dozen reprints. More than 150 research papers have also been published by him in reputed National and International Journals. A dozen students have completed their Ph.D under his guidance. He has organized and directed several important MDP’s and CEP’s and online executive Development programmes for companies like TCS, IBM, IOC, HCL, ITC Hotels, NTPC, BHEL, EIL. He was also an expert on the Panel of Interviewers for the UPSC Central Services Selection Board. His Contribution in the field of Finance has been recognized both at the National and International Levels in the form of various famous awards. Mr. Jain enjoys the prestige of a national professor.

Prof A.K. Sengupta ,a chair Professor at JIMS, is a former Dean of The Institute of Foreign Trade (a Deemed University) New Delhi. He is MA Eco. and Ph.D and has 46 years experience of teaching and research. He is a widely travelled man. Mr. Sengupta is a member of various Committees of the govt. of India and associated as a resource person with many assignments of FICCI, ASSOCHAM & SAARC Chamber of Women Entrepreneurship Council (SCWEC) etc. He has conducted more than 35 research studies on various aspects of International Business sponsored by GOI, UNDP, SIDA, IDBI and World Bank.

Dr. Sengupta has been serving as an external expert for Ph D viva in BHU, Lucknow University, Punjab University, Chandigarh, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. He has also been serving as a Resource Person for various training programmes for the Corporate Sector and Banks such as Bata India Ltd., MMTC, ITC, Nestle, STC, PEC, ICICI, J P Group etc. and a visiting faculty in reputed institutes such as IIFT, MDI, IMI, IMT, BHU, Punjab University, Lucknow, DAVU, Indore and so on.

Mr. Sengupta has authored six books on topics connected with International Trade and Competitiveness and several occasional papers such as “Business Process Outsourcing” and “India as a Global Hub for R & D, and so on. He has conducted several workshops in and outside the country, such as “Prospects of Indo-Bangladesh Trade”. Some of his famous books are – ‘India-Ethiopia: Emerging Business Opportunities’, ‘Business Intelligence: 15Products and 15 Markets’, ‘Managing Global Competitiveness: What Indian Companies Must Do’? ‘Managing in the Era of Change: Challenges & Opportunities’. His main subject of interest is ‘Cultural Dimensions in International Business’. He has presented papers in several academic institutions and in international conferences both in India and abroad - North America, Europe, Middle East, South East, and so on. Under UNDP fellowship programme he had spent a term as Visiting Scholar at John Anderson School of Management, University of California, Los Angeles.

Mrs. Nirupama Gupta is an Electronics & Communication Engg. Graduate of IIT Roorkee of 1969 batch and M. Tech. in Computer Science. She is associated with Technical Education for the last 38 years at Degree & Diploma level. Mrs. Gupta started her career as Lecturer at National Institute of Engg., Mysore. Since 1975, she is serving Department of Training & Technical Education Delhi at different positions. She was Principal of various Govt. Polytechnics with a number of initiatives and achievements to her credit.

She was recipient of National Level Science Talent Search Scholarship of NCERT. She has authored books and learning material for Indian society of Technical Education, (ISTE) and for The Institute of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, IETE. Mrs. Gupta has been a member of various committees constituted by bodies like AICTE, ISTE etc. She was general secretary of ISTE, Delhi chapter in the year 2001.

Mrs. Gupta served World Bank as Consultant for two years in the “World Bank Assisted Technician Education Project – Tech. Ed. I&II”. During this period she was actively involved in the Implementation, Monitoring & Evaluation of the Projects at National Level.

Prof. R.A Sharma an M.Com, Ph.D from University of Delhi has an experience of teaching M.Com, M.Phil and Ph.D students for more than 35 years. In 1988, he was promoted to the rank of Professor and Head in the Deptt. of Master of Finance and Control, University of Delhi.

Besides being an excellent teacher, Dr. Sharma has been a famous researcher and has so far guided research of more than 20 M.Phil and 11 Ph.D students. He specializes in the subjects of Management and Entrepreneurship and has already published 6 books and more than 37 articles in national and international journals. He has also completed two advanced research projects, one from ICSSR and other from UGC. Dr. Sharma has been the member of the Governing Body of JIMS since its inception.

Shri O.P. Bagla, FCA is a practicing Chartered Accountant with more than 45 yrs of experience in Management Information Systems, Finance, Audit and Company law. He is the founder and senior most partner of OP Bagla & Co-Chartered Accountants with more than 8 partners and several paid Chartered Accountants. The company enjoys a good position in top CA firm of the country. Mr. Bagla is on the Board of Directors of number of limited companies and a member of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

After Passing B.Com (Hons.) in 1964 in First Class from Shri Ram College of Commerce in 1964, he completed CA in 1967, in the first attempt. He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, (HQ at Florida, USA) Delhi Chapter. He has progressed slowly and steadily and has achieved highest milestones in his life. His firm is auditor of several companies such as NTPC, Monnet Ispat, Monnet Power, Kajaria Ceramics and more than 25 Pepsi Bottling Plants in addition to number of Public sector undertakings and banks. His firm is also providing services for the recruitment of highly qualified managerial personnel. He has widely travelled through out the world visiting England, France, Italy, Switzerland, USA, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Mauritius and Australia etc.

Mr. S.P Marwah was the Chief Election Commissioner, Delhi for three years from 2005 to 2008and Chairman, Public Grievances Committee for CGHS, Govt. of Delhi for one year and has a large administrative experience of nearly 35 years holding various official positions as a member of Civil Services. Before joining Central government, he served as a Lecturer in Commerce, Delhi University for four years.

He holds M.Com degree from Delhi University and Post Graduate Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution from India Law Institute, Delhi. He is a life member of ICA, ICADR, FACT, Indian Institute of Public Administration, Indian Water Works Association and so on.
He has been the Director/ Executive Director/ General Manager of various public undertakings of Delhi Government such as DDA, DFC, DIDC, MCD and so on.
His contribution towards the development and growth of Delhi is highly appreciable.

Mr. Jatin Aggarwal is an active energetic member of JIMS Elite. He is B.Com (Delhi), PGDBM-JIMS. He also holds diploma in Paint Technology from IIT and Diploma in Post – Harvest Technologies from University of California, Davis, USA. Mr. Aggarwal is Managing Director of ALA Exim (Pvt.) Ltd., Managing Partner of Bansal Trading Company, Eldee Enterprises and ALA Products (P) Ltd. His firm with a team of more than 100 people is running the business of distributors of more than twenty business houses for marketing their products.

Mr. Aggarwal is a very religious person. His parents have constructed some of the famous temples in Ashok Vihar and Roop Nagar. He is an active member of many Trade Associations including IPCA, IPA and ISSPA and so on. He is also the Hon. General Secretary of the All India Paint Association and Indian Paint and Coating Association. He has been Convener and Co-Convener for many International Conferences and many large meets and seminars in India. He has received many citations and awards for his contribution to the industry. His contribution to JIMS Alumni Association is highly praiseworthy.

Prof. R.P Maheshwari, M.Com, LL.B (Throughout First Class), Honorary Director General of JIMS since inception, is a teacher par-excellence with nearly sixty years of experience. Before joining JIMS, he was Vice-principal, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi. He is an author of repute of more than a dozen popular standard Text Books on various subjects of commerce, both in Hindi and English of which several editions have been published. Two of his books were subsidized by National book trust many times. He is an awardee of UP Govt. Motilal Nehru Prize (1993) for the best book on Mercantile Law in Hindi.

He has been associated with most of the professional Institutes such as ICAI, ICSI, ICWA, DPC, NCERT and many more for more than 35 years, as teacher, valuer, paper setter and moderator. He has also been a visiting faculty to large number of Public Sector Undertakings, such as STC, MMTC, NTPC, Defence forces. More than a dozen of his articles have been published in National Journals and Newspapers. He has been the Editor of Research Journals-Business Analyst and JIMS 8M for more than 20 years. He has been representing teachers’ cause as Treasurer, DUTA and Secretary, Teachers Forum, Delhi University.

Dr. J.K. Goyal, Director, Deptt. of Management at JIMS is M.A Eco and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Delhi. He had secured First position in BA Eco (Hons.) and was awarded Gold Medal by Punjab University. He has over 30 yrs teaching experience. He has been a visiting faculty at various prestigious management institutes. He has published several articles and papers at various seminars. He has been the Public Interest Director of Delhi stock Exchange and Director Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies. He is a keen sportsman and a trekker par excellence. He loves listening to “Sufi” music and possesses a wonderful sense of humour.

Dr. V.B Aggarwal has been the Founder Head of the Deptt. of Computer Science, University of Delhi and has been the leader in introducing MCA Programme in India for the first time. The programme introduced by him in 1982 is being followed even today in almost all the institutes of India.

He is M.Sc (Delhi), MS and Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, USA. He is the awardee of several Academic Honors such as National Science Talent Search Scholarship, All India National Scholarship, All India University Scholarship, Lala Shibhu Mal Prize, St. Stephen’s College, Ram Behari Prize, St. Stephen’s College, University Fellow, University of Illinois.

He has a long teaching experience of computer science for more than 30 years both in India and USA. He has been a visiting faculty to IIT Bombay, University of Oklahoma and Vermont. He has authored many research papers and published more than 18 popular books on Computer Science.

Dr. Agrawal is a life and senior member of Computer Society of India and has represented it as its Nominee in various National Committees and Conventions. He is also Director, CSC Infotech, IT Division of Pitambar Publishing Company, New Delhi. He has been the Head of the Deptt. of Mathematics of Delhi University and a member of the Executive Council and Academic Council ,Committee of Courses of University of Delhi.

Dr. Madan Mohan Maheshwari is currently working as Professor and Dean in JIMS. He has work experience of more than 30 years. Prior to JIMS, he was a member of the faculty and academic administrator in Delhi Productivity Council, New Delhi. He is M.Com, Ph.D. in Commerce from Agra University. He has also done Diploma in Cyber Laws from Indian Law Institute. His area of interest includes General Management and Legal Aspects of Business. He has organized and attended several FDP’s, seminars, workshops and training programmes. He is also involved in research work, guiding the post graduate students and research scholars in their research projects. He is also an approved guide and examiner for Ph.D. candidates in different universities.

Ms. C.Komalavalli is an Associate Professor in the Dept of Computer Applications at JIMS, Rohini, Delhi. She did her graduation in Electronics and Communication from Madurai Kamraj University and Post - graduate in Information Technology form Alagappa University. She also holds Microsoft Certification in Database Management System. Currently, she is pursuing her doctorate in Computer Science in Wireless Sensor Networks. She has written several books and articles which have been published in National and International Journals. She is also the Student Coordinator of CSI chapter, Delhi Region and Academics Coordinator for the IBM academic initiative. She has a long experience of 15 years teaching varied topics, ranging from programming languages to database management system. Her knowledge and amiable nature is appreciated by one and all.

Ms. Deepika Saxena is currently working as Assistant Professor in JIMS, and has work experience of more than 7 years including academic and industry (2 years in OTIS Elevators Co. India Ltd. as Finance Executive). She is a graduate in commerce from Delhi University, and in computer applications form IGNOU. She has done Masters in Business Administration from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Ghaziabad. She is currently pursuing Ph.D from Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida in the area of Financial Inclusion. Her other area of research includes micro-finance, micro-credit, technology in banking etc. She has also conducted one day MDP on “Micro-finance: fund accessibility to masses with good business sense.” Her area of teaching includes Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Financial Management. She has published and presented several research papers in the National and International Conferences. Her latest research paper titled: ‘Technology based Initiatives by Indian Commercial Banks towards Financial Inclusion’ was published and presented in the annual conference of IIM-Bangalore. She has attended several FDP’s and workshops, and has organized several seminars and events in JIMS. She has also been involved in guiding the post graduate students for dissertations, research projects, and summer training projects.
