Admission Procedure of PGDM (Retail & Marketing)


Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM-Retail Management) (Xth Batch)

with Dual Specialization - RM+Marketing, RM+Finance .

The PGDM RMM program is duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Government of India and accredited from National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for excellence in quality education. PGDM RMM is a dual specialization program designed to equip students with the practical, research and analytical skills necessary for a professional management career in the retail trade or an allied sector

JIMS is conducting the JIMS Retail Eligibility Test (JRET) for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Retail & Marketing (PGDM-RM). Candidates applying for JRET must hold a Bachelor's Degree of any Statutory University with minimum of 50% marks. Students who are in their final year of bachelor's degree education may also apply. The Objective of this test is to assess the candidate’s aptitude for PGDM-RM programme, including Verbal Ability, Logical and Numerical Reasoning.

Note: Students applying for JRET will have to appear for Extempore and Personal Interview on the same date. Extempore will assess candidate's communication skills, confidence, industry awareness and customer apprehension. At the time of interviews, the candidates will be thoroughly assessed by JIMS Team for suitability to be enrolled.

3. Total Fees 7.15Lac + 5000 Refundable Security (Payable in four Installments)
* cut off shall be decided as per the admission committee of JIMS.

Note:    Incase of no entrance exam, candidate will have to appear for JRET to qualify for PGDM-RM.

Selection Procedure

Final selection will be made on the basis of Academic Performance, CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT Score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Also applicants need to have minimum 50% in their Graduation.

How to Apply

Prospectus and Application forms are available on the payment of Rs. 1000/-. Following are the modes of payment:

  • Online - Applicants can make payment through Credit Card/Debit Card or Net Banking on the website i.e. www.jimsindia.org
  • Demand Draft -Applicants can also register online on the website i.e. www.jimsindia.org. All such forms must be supported by a Demand Draft in favour of Jagan Institute of Management Studies payable at Delhi.
  • Cash - Application forms are available at Rohini (Delhi) Campus on payment of Rs. 1000/-.

You can opt for more than one program in the same application form with no additional cost.
