Dr. J. K. Goyal, is an educational administrator of repute. He inspires his students, motivates the faculty members and has the capability of taking everyone along with him. Currently he is Director, Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Rohini. He has been associated with JIMS since 2005. Earlier, he was Director, Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies. He has been the public interest Director of the Delhi Stock Exchange. He started his professional career as a Lecturer in Delhi University. He graduated in Economics Hons from Panjab University where he stood first in the University and was awarded the Gold Medal in Economics Dr. J. K. Goyal has done his Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. He has done his Ph.D from the Faculty of Commerce and Business, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. He has over thirty years of teaching experience both at under graduate as well as post graduate levels. He has been a visiting faculty at various prestigious management institutes like M.D.I., Gurgaon, Department of Commerce, Delhi University etc. He has presented papers at various seminars and has written several articles. His main areas of interest are Macroeconomic Management and Business Environment. He is a keen sportsman and a trekker par excellence. He loves listening to ‘Sufi’ music. He has a wonderful sense of humour.
