The Corporate Resource Management Centre (CRMC) is literally in the eye of the storm, bringing together corporate luminaries and the student community at JIMS in intellectually stimulating and mutually beneficial interaction that forms the basis of firm relationships that have grown and strengthened over the years. The Institute's enviable reputation for excellence in management education makes it a natural choice for recruiters from the world's best and largest firms and students are able to gain from these relationships at various forums organized by the Faculty and the CRMC to amass a wealth of practical knowledge, that, in conjunction with their strong theoretical foundation, gives them a distinct edge in any field of their choice.


The CRMC aims at continuous interaction of the students with the industry for the upgradation of knowledge and skill. This objective is sought to be achieved by organizing structured activities including workshops and seminars, corporate visits for the students, product and industry specific studies to benefit students and business alike, consultancy projects, business expert interaction, faculty-business inter-disciplinary discussions for updating the Institute's curriculum and placement activities for students with active business support.

Organizing workshops and seminars on subjects of topical relevance and interest.
Organizing industrial visits for the students to expose them to the operational aspects of production, management and marketing.
Undertaking product and industry specific studies, with the aim of providing useful information to the industry.
Providing consultancy in the areas of marketing, management and information technology
Inviting managerial resource persons to interact with the students.
Organizing inter-disciplinary discussions between the industry and faculty for updating the Institute's curriculum.
Organizing placement activities for the PGDM students (Full-time and Part-time) with the active support of industry.

The campus placement programme seeks to fuse the aspirations of the future managers with the expectations of the corporate sector. This activity is performed exclusively by the students, guided and supported by CRMC and covers end-to-end functionality from designing placement brochure to inviting business placement executives.
