The JIMS Finance Club in association with ICICI StockMIND team conducted a session for PGDM 1st year students on 12th December 2014. This is the third season of StockMIND and the second for JIMS. Mr. Govind Kumar and Mr. Siddhant Dua interacted with the students and cleared their doubts regarding stock trading and stock markets.
StockMIND is an online mock stock trading competition where the participants would be getting virtual money worth Rs.15 lakhs using which they have to build a portfolio and trade using real-time stock prices for 7 days. The time frame for the intra college contest is from 15th December to 23rd December after which the investors with the highest portfolio value will participate against students from across the country. There are attractive cash prizes and certificates for the winners as well.
The main objective of StockMIND is to train young “would-be” investors in a stimulated environment without encountering the risk associated with the real market.
