JIMS in association with FIEO conducted a half day workshop on “Guarantees and SBLC- “Usages & Challenges” on 11th October 2013 at Niryat Bhawan. Guarantees are an integral part of business requirement for any business. Sometimes guarantees also need to be substituted by Stand By Letters of Credit (SBLC). 26 participants from different industries and banks like Bank of Tokyo, United Colors of Benetton, Indigo Airlines etc participated in the workshop.
 
The workshop was led by Dr. (Prof.) Ashok Bhagat Ex. Head Sales – Trade & VP Societe Generale, ICC India nominee for ICC Banking Commission Paris –India Chapter & Ex-Officio Member ICC INDIA Executive Committee and presently Dean -International Business, JIMS, Rohini, Delhi. The workshop took place in three technical sessions and was highly interactive and well appreciated by all the participants.
