Industrial Visit
to Mother Dairy on 12th December, 2011

PGDM (Retail & Marketing) students went for a industrial trip to the Mother Dairy head quarters at Patparganj, Delhi. Mother Dairy with its associate brand SAFAL is among the most successful organization in retail in Delhi, distributing and retailing milk, ice-cream, fruits, vegetables and other staple items.
Students were briefed by Mr. I.M. Joshi, HR Manager, Mother Dairy about the milk ingredients and the benefits of milk. Later he showed the presentation related to the factory of Mother Dairy and its process and also the various types of milks and ice-cream in their factory.
Students were also given demonstration of various machines and testing facilities at the processing plant. They were also provided with refreshment consisting of Mother dairy products.
Overall it was a great learning and fun experience for the students, who also gained some tips about the supply chain management.
