Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Sector 5Rohini organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Designing & Delivering Academic Inputs in Professional Education” on 28th September 2010. The FDP was attended by 35 faculty members from JIMS’ sector 3 & sector 5 campuses. The key resource persons were Mr. M.P. Sinha and Dr. J.K. Goyal.
Mr. M.P. Sinha is currently heading GHRDC as the Executive Director. He has contributed in writing several articles and has conducted many workshops and training programs in different fields. At GHRDC, he has been involved in conducting Surveys of educational institutes for the last 10 years and has been involved in developing the concept of rating and ranking B-Schools in India. Mr. Sinha conducted a very interactive and informative day long session in which he apprised the faculty with new and innovative methods of curriculum designing and delivery mechanisms.
Dr.J.K. Goyal, Director JIMS threw light on the recent developments and the forthcoming proposed changes in higher education. He encouraged the faculty members to read and broaden their horizons.
