Jagan Institute of Management Studies organized a workshop on “Structuring a Business Plan” for the PGDM IB Batch 2013-2015 students on 7th March, 2014.
The Workshop was divided into three modules -
Module I- Identifying the components of a Business Plan
Module II-Writing and proposing a Business Plan
Module III- Which is called the “Best” Business Plan
As a part of IB Connect (IB Club) activity a full day session on “Structuring a Business Plan” was conducted by Dr. Jeevan Jyoti, Associate Professor, Jammu University. It was a perfect opportunity for all the budding and aspiring managers to reveal their creativity, intellect & entrepreneurial skills as well as enhance & advance their managerial competencies.
The session dwelled upon as to how to start a business, difference between executive, mini and full business plan. The session started with the basic elements of Business Plan i.e. idea generation and went through proper execution and feasible implementation of Plan.
The 2nd half of the session was a workshop in which the class was divided a group of 6 each; eight different business plans were proposed by the students.
Great ideas were generated and detailed business plan was proposed by each group overall it was an excellent learning and enthusiastic involvement of students.
