JIMS has one of the finest computing environments among management institutions in Delhi. Operating round the clock,with a large number of desktops (more than 300 PCs), worldclass servers and a campus wide network with access to Internet and other facilities, which is Wi-Fi enabled to ensure mobile computing at all locations within the campus. The network links the computing resources in the faculty offices, student labs and administrative units. Internet bandwidth of 2 Mbps is taken from VSNL, to provide internet facilities to the Institution.

JIMS computing infrastructure offers a truly heterogeneous range of hardware and software platforms for the student to appreciate and gain wide-ranging experience. The desktop environment is dominated by world class 300 workstations.The entire network has access to Windows 2003, SUSE and MS-Exchange and Group wise e-mail servers.

Internet access to students is available round the clock through 2 Mbps leased line. Firewall software is used as a multiple gateway which also does the bandwidth monitoring and spam control.The software environment includes Oracle 10g,Sql Server 2000,Visual Studio,.Net, Turbo C, Adobe , Photoshop, Symantec, Tally, CorelDraw,Acrobat, Flash, SPSS, Prowess from cmie with details of more than 9000 companies.
