Jagan Institute of Management Studies organized a Guest Lecture on “How to face the Interview” on Saturday, 21st July, 2012 for its PGDM 2011-2013 Batch. The guest speaker for the event was Mr. V. K Verma (General Manager, TCS). Mr. Verma discussed some of the key concepts and ideas to face an interview. He shared his experience with our students as they were on the verge of getting placed. Mr. Verma shared his experience when he was a student & when he had to face the corporate interview. Corporate interviews have a tendency of putting a fresher into a dilemma and create a feeling of anxiety. To tackle such situations the students were given learning tips to face the interviews confidently and effortlessly. The war for few positions and to take the best of the industry positions in the market were some of the issues discussed.

• Approachable and friendly attitude,
• Fitting in with the company standards
• The essential basics
• Active listener
• Think before you speak

Overall the session was well appreciated both by the students and the faculty.
