Bizz n Bytes- the IT Club of Jagan Institute of Management Studies organized a Business Simulation Game. The game was designed to provide practical overview of Business Environment. The game was strategized on implementation of Marketing, Financial and HR strategies in a business to earn maximum profit by optimum utilization of resources. Around 21 Teams participated.
The session started with the Inaugural Speech of Prof. R.P. Maheshwari, Director General, JIMS and congratulated the coordinators for their sincere efforts to organize such event . Later the rules and regulations of the event were detailed down to the Participants. Participants were given 15 minutes time to play the demo to get comfortable with the game. After that, queries were invited and entertained. Then participants were asked to load the game and play. Participants had to apply Class Room concepts like ‘Cost effectiveness’, ‘Placing of the product’, ‘Pricing strategy’, ‘Demand and Supply’. The event was visited and appreciated by Prof. R. P. Maheshwari, Director General, JIMS & Dr. J.K. Goyal, Director, JIMS. After the given time, participants were asked to stop the game and their scores were taken. Further, the names of winners were announced by Dr. Madan Mohan, Dean, JIMS. Winners were rewarded with Certificates and Cash prizes.
