Jagan Institute of Management Studies, Sector-5, Rohini, New Delhi organized Business Quiz “ Around the World” for BBA-BCA students of 1st,2nd and 3rd year on Thursday,6th Septmeber,2012 . Prof V.B Aggarwal – Dean (IT) gave the welcome address, the competition was judged by Mrs. Anju Mathur & Ms. Jyoti Kukreja. There were 14 teams who were judged on the basis of their communication skills, prompt answerability, general knowledge, awareness, & verbal ability. The quiz was in the form of question & answer format which added an interactive zeal.

First Round was the qualifying round where out of 14 teams, 10 best teams were selected. The questions were asked on various themes like judging the tag line, parent company, abbreviation, & jumble words & were related to business management. After every round there was an audience interactive round to add colors to the event which was termed as the bonus round. A huge level of enthusiasm was experienced by the students as they actively took part in the same.

The winners for the event were announced team wise & were awarded with certificate of participation their names are:

• Ist Prize Team A: Vaibhav & Nishant (BBA)
• IInd Prize Team B: Deepak & Amit (BBA)
• IIIrd Prize team C: Ishan & Varun (BBA)

The student co-ordinators for the event were Kunal Jindal, Kanupriya, & Charu Puri who instilled all their efforts & contributed for the success of the event. Overall, the event was a learning experience that harbored learning with an overwhelming response from the participants, faculties and JIMS Community.
